Who are your three main musical influencers?

Whilst we’re all throwing influences into the Honey pot, we have three main influences that we’ve taken inspiration from since day one of this band: Steely Dan, Soundgarden and the War On Drugs. We all relate very strongly not only the way these bands wrote and still write music, but also to how they sonically arrange their music.

What would you say your biggest musical achievement is so far?

Aside from making it through the Corona virus (we got together not long before the first lockdown kicked in) it was selling out our first show. To have a whole room of friends, family and listeners come and sell out a whole venue for us was the warmest welcome back into normality.

What are your plans for the near future?

We’ve just put out a new single so we’re going to plug that to the max. After that we’ve been accepted onto the Summer Studios residency programme run by the Sage Gateshead, before we release another single. We’re also performing at Little Buildings on the 25th of September with our good pals in Bosola and Holiday in Tokyo.
